Double flared, double sided concave plugs made from French Boxwood, a European boxwood generally utilized for fine small scale woodworking, particularly instrument making. Coloration is bright yellow to ashy/dirty yellow, frequently with black or gray streaking or small splotches as shown. A very dense, extremely fine grained wood. Plugs are concave (bowl shaped) on both sides.

Wearing surface ranges from about 10-14mm, depending on the size of the plugs. Flares are about 1-1.5mm larger than the size ordered. If you require a customized wearing surface or flare, please let us know.
